Lawn Bowls Family Sunday - 12th August 2007 |
| |


· AUAM organized a Lawn Bowls Games Family Sunday in Bukit Kiara National Sports Complex on 12th August 2007.
· We wish to thank our friends from MAFAA and Persatuan Alumni University Malaya (PAUM) for supporting this event.
· We also wish to thank Mr. Scott Yew for being the key organizer of the event and all AUAM members for supporting the event.

· We wish to express our heartiest thanks and appreciation to all previous AUAM Council Members for their tremendous contribution to the association during the term 2005-2007.
· We also wish to congratulate all newly elected AUAM Council Members for the term 2007-2009. The Chairman, YB Tan Sri Dato' (Dr) Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman is confident that the new AUAM Council Members will serve the members better by organizing more events that would benefit the members.
· Tan Sri reminded the audience that the most important event for the year 2007 is the 30th AUAM Annual Dinner.

AUAM and EXPERIENCES 2006 Organizing Committee Appreciation Dinner at Bombay Palace Restaurant, Kuala Lumpur |

· AUAM organized an appreciation dinner for AUAM and Experiences 2006 Committee as a token of thanks for their efforts in successfully organizing Experiences 2006 Kuala Lumpur, an American Universities Education Fair, on 16th July 2006 (Sunday) at Sunway Pyramid Convention Center. The education fair attracted more than 4,000 prospective and incoming students and their families.
· AUAM continues to give its full support and commitment to the event this year in 2007. This year's event has been rebranded to Discover U.S. Education - KL '07. Refer to the event's website for exciting information about the event this year - http://www.discoveruseducation.org

AUAM 29th Annual Dinner |
| |

· This is the highlight of AUAM events, where AUAM members will come together to celebrate its anniversary. The 29th AUAM Annual Dinner was organized on 21st May 2006 (Sunday) at Istana Hotel. More than 400 AUAM Members and friends attended the event, including Guest-Of-Honor, YB Dato’ Dr. Awang Adek bin Hussin, Deputy Minister of Finance and Alumni of University of Pennsylvania and H.E. Ambassador Christopher J. Lafleur, US Ambassador to Malaysia and Alumni of Princeton University.
· AUAM plans to organize a grand dinner for 1,000 AUAM Members in 2007, to commemorate the 30th AUAM Annual Dinner. It is our hope that alumni of US Universities would strongly support this event. If you intend to participate in this event, please kindly contact Yeoh Chen Chow, secretary of AUAM at

American Universities Education Fair (Experiences 2006 KL) |
| |

· AUAM supported the inaugural Experiences 2006 Kuala Lumpur, an American Universities Education Fair, which was successfully organized on 16th July 2006 (Sunday) at Sunway Pyramid Convention Center. A total of more than 4,000 people visited the largest American Universities Education Fair of its kind in Malaysia.
· 43 Universities participated in the fair, including 7 of the 8 Ivy League universities. YB Datuk Ong Tee Keat, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, H.E. Ambassador Christopher J. Lafleur, US Ambassador to Malaysia, Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr) Abdul Aziz (President of AUAM) and Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr) Lin See Yan, President of Harvard Club of Malaysia graced the occasion. Among the Diamond sponsors of the event include Inti College Malaysia, Sunway University College, Taylor’s College, Accenture, Sony and Citibank.
